The Room
Quiet, green
and slow.
We built SERKYEM to be the calmest room in Siliguri — somewhere the noise of the road stops at the door.
- Garlic vines
- The ceiling is a canopy. The vines flower in violet, and the room takes its light through them.
- Bamboo sofas
- Low, deep, and built to be sat in for hours. Nobody has ever been hurried out of one.
- No rush
- Tea comes by the pot. Bring a book, a friend, or a laptop — the afternoon is yours.

A serkyem is an offering — a small cup set on a wider plate, poured first for the guest, the mountain, the moment, and only then for yourself. Two semicircles, one above the other. It is our name, it is our mark, and it is how we would like you to be received here.
